I have been a practising Reflexologist for over two decades and during this tme I became aware that many of my clients had health problems caused by being overweight. I believed then, as I do now, that hypnosis would help me find an answer to this ever-increasing problem, which has been made even more serious by the recent Covid crisis and two years of lockdown. The rapid rise in the number of people being diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes is directly related to the obesity problem and being overweight also causes many other health issues including heart disease, strokes, restricted mobility, the need for hip and knee surgery and some cancers. However, I firmly believe that every pound lost can greatly reduce these risks which is why after becoming a certified hypnotherapist in 2015 I have dedicated my practice to researching and specialising in using hypnosis for weight management. I believe that it is the only long term solution that is effective as it allows the individual to take back control over what and when they eat, without detracting from the enjoyment of nourishing healthy food.

Solution
To be able to control our weight without the need for dieting or calorie counting we need to understand how our minds and bodies work. No two people are alike when it comes to why they are overweight, for some it will be eating too much, for others it will be snacking or eating junk food, also poor sleep habits, stress and our genetic inheritance can contribute to the cause. So no single solution will work for everyone, no matter what the latest diet books promise!
I will work with you to identify why you are overweight and I will then design a programme specifically for you, one that is realistic and manageable that will enable you to comfortably and safely achieve the weight loss you desire. You were not born with unhealthy eating habits, you learned them at some stage in your life and by using hypnosis we can remove them and put in place healthier options.
